Masters Regalia

Candidates for Master's degrees wear black tassels with their school or division represented by the color on their hood. The gown for the Master's degree has an oblong sleeve and is open at the wrist. The gown is designed and supplied with fasteners so that it may be worn open or closed. The Master's hood is long, has a wide velvet trim, and exposed lining. The velvet trim color designates the degree the person is receiving. The lining of hoods worn by graduates of the University of Kentucky will be in the school's colors of royal (UK) blue and white.
